Seahawks' Chris Carson suffers setback with ankle injury

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (broken leg, Injured Reserve) had a setback in his recovery, head coach Pete Carroll revealed.

What It Means:

"We were looking to try to find the time when we could put him back on the practice field," Carroll explained. "We were looking with real optimism but I don't know if that's going to happen after the little setback. We'll have to see when we get through the weekend." Carson could still be activated for the Seahawks this season but it doesn't sound like he'll have an opportunity to matter for owners in the fantasy playoffs.

Carson averaged 9.1 FanDuel points across four games before injury, with 49 carries for 208 rushing yards and 7 catches (8 targets) for 59 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
