Geno Smith to remain Giants' backup for Week 14
According to Newsday's Tom Rock, New York Giants quarterback Geno Smith will remain the team's second quarterback for this week's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Eli Manning will return to the team's starting role, with Smith backing him up. Meanwhile, Davis Webb will see more reps and could eventually operate as the team's backup. Of those on the roster, he's the team's only possibility as a quarterback of the future.
Over the rest of the season, our models project Smith for 29.4 pass yards, 0.16 touchdowns and 0.25 interceptions in his role as the team's backup quarterback.
