Panthers' Greg Olsen was worried about artificial turf in New Orleans
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen (foot) was held out of Week 13 against the New Orleans Saints because of concerns about playing on an artificial surface.
Olsen suffered a setback in Week 12 on the turf at MetLife Stadium, and the Panthers didn't want to force the issue with a three-game homestand on tap. "Three home games, back on grass, another week to get healthier and stuff," Olsen said. "We just felt it was in our best interests long term for the rest of this season." Ed Dickson started in Sunday's loss but it sounds like Olsen should be back in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Olsen is averaging 1.9 FanDuel points in three games this season, with 4 catches (10 targets) for 38 yards in three games this season.
