Green Bay Packers running back Ty Montgomery (wrist, ribs) has been placed on injured reserve, effectively ending his season.
What It Means:
Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones will be the top two running backs the rest of the season. Williams has seen over 20 touches for three straight weeks, but Jones could return on Sunday, perhaps making this a committee again.
Montgomery will finish his 2017 campaign with 273 rushing yards, 173 receiving yards, and 4 total touchdowns across 8 games.
