Raiders' Sebastian Janikowski (back) will not return this season
Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski will not return from injured reserve this season.
Dealing with back issues, Janikowski was placed on injured reserve back on September 9th. He was eligible to return, but the Raiders used the veteran's roster spot on safety Obi Melifonwu so they'll stick with Giorgio Tavecchio for the last five games of the season.
Tavecchio has made 25-of-26 extra-points and 12-of-15 field goals through 11 games. He's projected for 7.9 field goals and 10.7 extra-points the rest of the season.
