Texans say Tom Savage will be benched if turnovers continue
Houston Texans quarterback Tom Savage will be benched if he continues to commit so many turnovers, head coach Bill O'Brien said.
"It has to get corrected," O'Brien stated. "If not, we'll have to go in a different direction." In six games (five starts) this season, Savage has committed 12 turnovers (5 interceptions, 7 fumbles), including 2 picks and a fumble in Monday night's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. T.J. Yates is next on the depth chart but Savage is expected to remain under center in Week 13 against the Tennessee Titans.
numberFire's models project Savage to score 13.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,000 in Week 13. He's the QB26 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
