The Dallas Cowboys have waived running back Darren McFadden.
It was a mutual agreement between the two parties, and with McFadden owning a reasonable contract, he could get claimed by another team. Rod Smith and Alfred Morris will handle backfield duties for Dallas until Ezekiel Elliot returns from suspension.
McFadden has rushed the ball just once this season for -2 yards in the one game he was active for the Cowboys.
