John Lynch: Carlos Hyde has been 'excellent' for 49ers

San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde has "been excellent" this season, general manager John Lynch said.

What It Means:

"I think he learns football from [head coach] Kyle [Shanahan]. He's loving playing football, and we love that. And it's starting to show up on the field. He's been excellent." Hyde, who is playing in the final year of his rookie deal, has rushed 141 times for 592 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while adding 42 catches (60 targets) for another 274 yards through the air. He'll look to keep it going for the 49ers in Week 12 as they host the Seattle Seahawks in a matchup of NFC West foes.

numberFire's models project Hyde to rush 14.3 times for 54.8 yards and 0.36 touchdowns in Week 12, while adding 3.4 catches for 27.3 yards and 0.12 scores, for a total of 12.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,600. He's the RB11 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
