Sterling Shepard S. Shepard

Sterling Shepard (migraines) reportedly unlikely to play for Giants on Thursday

New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (migraines) is unlikely to play Thursday evening against the Washington Redskins, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.

What It Means:

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported earlier Thursday that there was a "slight possibility" Shepard would be able to play but that always seemed like a long shot after the receiver missed practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. His absence should lead to more looks for Travis Rudolph and Evan Engram.

In the unlikely event he plays, numberFire's models conservatively project Shepard for 5.3 FanDuel points at a cost of $7,000 in Week 12, with 3.4 targets, 2.4 receptions, 25.6 yards and 0.26 touchdowns on Thanksgiving.
