Matt Forte (knee) returns to Jets' practice on Thursday
New York Jets running back Matt Forte (knee) returned to practice Thursday.
According to Jets beat reporter Brian Costello, Forte "ran some routes and appears to be moving well." After sitting out before the bye, it sounds like Forte has a chance of returning against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. The veteran back has 57 carries for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, in addition to 29 receptions for 222 yards on 32 targets across seven games.
If he plays, numberFire's models conservatively project Forte for 33.7 total yards and 0.17 touchdowns on 3.9 rushes and 2.0 catches in Week 12. He's pegged for 5.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $5,400.
