Bears sign Cairo Santos to replace Connor Barth
The Chicago Bears signed kicker Cairo Santos, formerly of the Kansas City Chiefs, to replace Connor Barth.
Santos was placed on Injured Reserve by the Chiefs and then released a few days later after he aggravated a groin injury in a Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Barth was released a day after missing a 46-yard game-tying field goal at the end of regulation in a 27-24 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Santos has made 22-of-28 (80.7 percent) field goals and 125-of-130 (96.2 percent) extra points in his career.
