Cleveland Browns quarterback DeShone Kizer will remain the starter for the rest of the season, head coach Hue Jackson said.
"Where we are right now, I need to continue to see him,'' said Jackson. "Let's let him play. Let's let him play this thing out. As long as he's healthy, let's keep putting him out there. I want to walk away from this season knowing exactly what DeShone Kizer is top to bottom." Kizer completed 16-of-32 passes for 179 yards, with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions in Sunday's 19-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Browns face the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 12.
Kizer has completed 148-of-282 (52.5 percent) of his passes for 1,555 yards with 5 touchdowns and 14 interceptions this season, with another 223 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground. He's averaging 11.8 FanDuel points across nine games.
