Bengals' Tyler Eifert (back) undergoes surgery to remove cyst
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert underwent a procedure recently to remove a cyst on his knee.
Eifert is already out for the 2017 season after going through back surgery. This is a minor procedure, but it's clear that he's looking to get healthy with free agency looming this offseason. While he's out Tyler Kroft will continue to lead Cincinnati's tight end crew.
In 2 games, Eifert caught 4-of-5 balls for 46 yards and 0 touchdowns. In 5 seasons, he's put together just two seasons of 13 or more games.
