Buccaneers want to remain committed to running game
Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Todd Monken said the offense has to continue running the football despite their struggles in recent weeks.
"It helps our offense as a whole, makes play-action work, helps defense play fewer snaps," Monken said. Have to keep hammering at it. The Buccaneers are 28th in the NFL with 82.8 rushing yards per game, and Doug Martin has totaled just 231 yards (2.9 yards per carry) over the past five. Things should open up a bit in Week 11 versus the Miami Dolphins.
The Buccaneers enter Week 11 ranked 22nd in the NFL in Adjusted Offensive Rushing Net Expected Points per play. Martin checks in as the RB14 in our weekly fantasy rankings with a projection of 12.1 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,100.
