Teddy Bridgewater nearly got starting nod for Vikings in Week 11
The Minnesota Vikings were "very tempted" to start quarterback Teddy Bridgewater against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, reports Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.
Case Keenum will remain under center in Week 11, but Glazer says the Vikings view Bridgewater "as their franchise," and it sounds like they're eager to see him in game action after spending over 14 months on the shelf. If Keenum struggles in a tough spot versus the Rams, Bridgewater may get the call.
When Bridgewater last played in 2015, he completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 3,231 passing yards with 14 touchdowns and 9 interceptions across 16 games.
