Pete Carroll: Seahawks' C.J. Prosise (ankle) could return this season
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said running back C.J. Prosise "could be a candidate to return later this year", according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.
If Prosise were to return this season, it would have to come in the playoffs. He has just a six-week timetable but he'll be forced to miss at least eight after being placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury. It's unlikely that the running back sees the field again. In the meantime, J.D. McKissic will take over some of the pass-catching back responsibilities as Thomas Rawls heads the Seattle backfield.
By the end of the 2017 regular season, Prosise will have played just 11 of 32 possible games through 2 NFL seasons.
