Seahawks place C.J. Prosise (ankle) on injured reserve

The Seattle Seahawks have placed running back C.J. Prosise on injured reserve, ending his 2017 season.

What It Means:

According to ESPN's Brady Henderson, the Seahawks have promoted Mike Davis from the practice squad to replace Prosise on the active roster. Prosise suffered an ankle sprain in Thursday's win after missing the better part of five games with a sprain of his other ankle.

With 17 touches, 110 yards and 0 touchdowns through 5 games, Prosise was projected to contribute 41.5 touches, 249.7 yards and 1.5 touchdowns prior to be ruled out for the rest of the season.
