Falcons' Devonta Freeman (concussion) out for the remainder of Sunday's game
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman will not return to the field on Sunday versus the Dallas Cowboys after being diagnosed with a concussion.
Freeman exited the game after taking a hit from Anthony Hitchens during the first half of Sunday's game. Tevin Coleman will likely take on a bigger role in the Falcons backfield, with Terron Ward possibly seeing increased touches as well. With the Falcons playing on Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks next week, he will get an extra day to recover.
Prior to his injury, Freeman rushed 2 times for just 3 yards on Sunday.
