Ezekiel Elliott suspended again for Cowboys after losing latest appeal
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott's emergency motion has been denied by the Second Circuit, and he is once again suspended.
As always, things could change, but as of now, Elliott's six-game suspension is back on, starting with Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons. He's eligible to return in Week 16 versus the Seattle Seahawks. In the meantime, Alfred Morris will lead a Cowboys' backfield committee that also includes Darren McFadden and Rod Smith.
Elliott is averaging 19.9 FanDuel points in eight games this season while rushing 191 times for 783 yards and 7 touchdowns with 19 receptions for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns on 26 targets. His 0.07 Rushing Net Expected Points per play this season rank 3rd out of the 21 running backs with at least 100 carries.
