Malcolm Brown (MCL) out indefinitely for Rams

Los Angeles Rams running back Malcolm Brown is out indefinitely with an MCL injury, reports Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.

What It Means:

Per Gonzalez, Brown suffered the injury in the second half of the Rams' Week 9 blowout win over the New York Giants. He's facing a lengthy absence with no certain timetable and surgery hasn't been ruled out. In the meantime, Lance Dunbar figures to benefit the most. Brown was averaging 13.5 touches over the past two games.

In seven games this season, Brown rushed 37 times for 138 yards and 1 touchdown while adding 5 catches (5 targets) for 46 yards. Among the 63 running backs with at least 35 carries this season, Brown is 37th in Rushing Net Expected Points per play.
