Vikings' Sam Bradford (knee) undergoes arthroscopic knee surgery

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

What It Means:

Mortensen said that Dr. James Andrews "cleaned up" the signal caller's knee in order to relieve "pain and discomfort." There's still a chance that Bradford is placed on injured reserve with Case Keenum holding down the fort at quarterback. It helps that Teddy Bridgewater is now available to backup Keenum in case of injury.

For the third time in 5 seasons, Bradford will have missed at least 9 games due to injury. After making 14 and 15 starts, respectively, in 2015-16 and 2016-17, he's probably going to finish this season with just 382 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2 starts.
