Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman (ankle) has been activated from injured reserve.
Perryman has been out since injuring his ankle in the Chargers' preseason opener. He's expected to make his 2017 debut on Sunday and will be a welcome addition against Leonard Fournette and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Los Angeles has surrendered the second-most rushing yards in the NFL this season.
Perryman racked up 138 tackles (25 assists) with 2 pass deflections, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble in 26 games during his first two NFL campaigns. He joins a Chargers team that ranks 17th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) allowed per play, but a poor 31st in Adjusted Rushing Defensive NEP allowed per play.
