Andrew Luck (shoulder, IR) expected to be ready for Colts by start of 2018 season
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder, IR) is expected to be ready for the 2018 season, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
As of now, the Colts don't think Luck will need surgery, but he's going to be shut down for 2-3 months before undergoing a reevaluation. The 28-year-old quarterback is dealing with significant damage after playing through a labrum tear for two years, causing many to speculate about his long-term viability. The Colts face the Houston Texans in a Week 9 divisional road matchup on Sunday.
In five seasons, Luck has compiled a 43-27 record while completing 1,570-of-2,651 passes (59.2 percent) for 19,078 yards with 132 touchdowns and 68 interceptions.
