49ers' George Kittle could benefit from Pierre Garcon's (neck) injury
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is numberFire's 13th-ranked option at his position in our Week 9 fantasy rankings.
After seeing a combined 17 targets in Weeks 5 and 6, Kittle has only been thrown at 6 times over the past two games. However, with Pierre Garcon -- who leads the team with 67 targets -- now out for the year with a neck injury, there should be plenty more looks to go around. Don't be surprised if the fifth-round rookie is more involved against the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.
numberFire's models project Kittle to catch 3.7 passes for 36.3 yards and 0.32 touchdowns on 6.0 targets in Week 9, which would be good for 7.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $5,000.
