Bruce Arians doubts David Johnson (wrist) will return for Cardinals in 2017

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians expects running back David Johnson (wrist surgery) to miss the remainder of 2017.

What It Means:

Cardinals general manager Steve Keim is also skeptical that Johnson will return this season, so it's looking increasingly unlikely that he returns when eligible in November. If fantasy owners were planning on having Johnson for the playoffs, they should make other plans.

Before going down in Week 1, Johnson tallied 91 yards on 11 rushes and 6 catches. numberFire's project him for 390.6 total yards and 2.27 touchdowns over the rest of the year, but that assumes he returns in Week 14.
