Ryan Kalil (neck) out Week 8 for the Panthers
Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil has been ruled out for the team's Week 8 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
According to The Charlotte Observer's Joe Person, Panthers coach Ron Rivera said that Kalil is week-to-week with his neck injury. Carolina's All-Pro lineman has played in just two of seven possible games this season. Running backs Jonathan Stewart and Christian McCaffrey get a slight downgrade with the loss.
According to our metrics, the Panthers' rushing game is, by far, the worst in the entire league. They're averaging just 3.4 yards per carry and 97.3 rushing yards per game in 2017.
