Bucs' cornerback Brent Grimes (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 8
Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes (shoulder) will not play in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers.
Cornerback Robert McClain has also been ruled out with a concussion. The Bucs defense has struggled against the pass this season, ranking 29th by numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics, and will now be missing their two top cornerbacks. It's a potential boost for Cam Newton and the Panthers' wide receivers.
The Buccaneers are 30th in passing yards allowed per game this season (294.8).
