Saints' Sean Payton: Michael Thomas' knee injury not long-term
New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton answered "no" when asked if wide receiver Michael Thomas' knee injury was anything significant or long-term.
According to ESPN's Mike Triplett, Payton didn't elaborate any further so take his answer for what it's worth. Thomas sat out Wednesday's practice and his availability is up in the air for Week 8. We'll hope to have more clarity following the release of Thursday's injury report. But if Thomas can't go, Ted Ginn, Willie Snead (hamstring) and Brandon Coleman could all see more targets against the Chicago Bears this week.
Thomas comes in at $7,500 for this week's slate and is projected for 13 FanDuel points, 70.9 yards and 0.54 touchdowns on 8.8 targets.
