Wendell Smallwood draws start for Eagles on Monday in return
Philadelphia Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood rushed 8 times for 25 yards and caught 2 passes (2 targets) for 14 yards against the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football in Week 7.
Smallwood returned from a two-game absence on Monday and actually drew the start over LeGarrette Blount, but the latter dominated the second-half workload as the Eagles went into clock-killing mode. Philadelphia figures to continue going with a committee approach in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Smallwood scored 4.9 FanDuel points in Week 7 after our models projected him for 5.1, and he's now averaging 6.3 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire ranks Smallwood as the RB18 for Week 8 and he will cost $5,500 on FanDuel.
