Jason McCourty

Browns' Jason McCourty (ankle) likely to be out against Titans

Cleveland Browns cornerback Jason McCourty (questionable, ankle) should be inactive for Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer expects.

What It Means:

Cleveland already gives up the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year, and the absence of their best cornerback will be a huge blow. Per Pro Football Focus, McCourty has graded out as the top cornerback in coverage so far this season. McCourty's absence should open things up even more for Titans' quarterback Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee passing attack.

Our models project Mariota for 258.2 passing yards, 1.9 touchdowns, and 0.4 interceptions on 31.4 attempts, adding 4.5 rushes for 19.4 yards and 0.4 touchdowns on the ground. That would be good for 21.47 FanDuel points – our fourth-best quarterback projection this week – at a salary of $8,200.
