Bills' Jordan Matthews (thumb) projected to play in Week 7
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Jordan Matthews (questionable, thumb) is expected to play Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms.
Matthews is returning two weeks sooner than expected after going down with a broken thumb in Week 4. He'll play with the assistance of special gloves. Matthews has an enticing home matchup against the leaky Bucs' secondary – which allows the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers – and should see a steady workload Sunday with tight end Charles Clay (knee surgery) sidelined.
Our models still project Matthews to be out, and if that remains the case, Zay Jones would be Buffalo's top receiver. Our models project Jones for 29.5 receiving yards and 0.1 touchdowns on 2.0 catches – 4.39 FanDuel points at a salary of $4,500.
