Packers place Aaron Rodgers (broken collarbone) on injured reserve

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (broken collarbone) was placed on injured reserve and will miss at least eight weeks.

What It Means:

It's a long shot, but the Packers haven't ruled Rodgers out for the season, and he would be eligible to return in Week 15. Rodgers underwent surgery on Thursday. Brett Hundley is taking over as Green Bay's starting quarterback, and will face New Orleans in Week 7.

This season, Rodgers has thrown for 1,385 yards, 13 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
