Jalen Richard gains 76 yards on 13 touches for Raiders in Week 7
Oakland Raiders running back Jalen Richard rushed 9 times for 31 yards and caught 4 passes (4 targets) for 45 yards in Thursday's Week 7 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Marshawn Lynch was ejected in the second quarter on Thursday night, so the Raiders turned to Richard and DeAndre Washington for backfield duties in what was almost a dead-even split. Expect a similar workload against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8 if Lynch is suspended.
Richard scored 9.6 FanDuel points in Week 7 after our models projected him for 6.6, and he's now averaging 6.2 FanDuel points per game this season. Per numberFire Live, he also finished with -2.78 Rushing Net Expected Points, meaning a league average running back would have scored 2.78 more points than Richard did if put in similar situations.
