Jameis Winston (shoulder) expected to be active for Buccaneers Week 7
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston appears to be on track towards dressing against the Buffalo Bills in Week 7, writes Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times.
What It Means:
Winston "did everything but throw" at Wednesday's practice, leading Auman to believe that the Buccaneers "are confident that [he] can be active as a backup to Ryan Fitzpatrick on Sunday at Buffalo if he doesn't start." Most notably, Tampa Bay didn't add a quarterback on Wednesday. "Draw your own conclusions," head coach Dirk Koetter said after practice. It looks like Winston will play in Week 7.
Winston is averaging 15.7 FanDuel points in five games this season and will cost $7,600 in Week 7. Without knowing his status versus the Bills, numberFire's models project him to record 2,942.7 passing yards with 17.76 touchdowns and 9.7 interceptions over the remainder of the year while adding 106.9 rushing yards and 1.41 scores on the ground.
