Bilal Powell (calf) officially out for Jets on Sunday
New York Jets running back Bilal Powell (calf) has officially been ruled out for Week 6 against the New England Patriots.
What It Means:
This was the expectation after Powell missed practice all week. Matt Forte and Elijah McGuire are expected to split work in the Jets' backfield as they welcome the Patriots to town. Powell has totaled 312 yards from scrimmage and scored 2 touchdowns this season.
Mostly due to a 27.0-point outburst in Week 4, Powell is averaging 9.9 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to rush 76.3 more times for 334.8 yards and 2.21 touchdowns while also catching 32.5 passes for 234.0 yards and 0.72 scores over the remainder of the year.
