Ezekiel Elliott (suspension) could play for Cowboys in Week 7

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot could be eligible to play in Week 7.

What It Means:

According to Pro Football Talk, the Fifth Circuit Court judge has informed the NFL and NFLPA that he will not lift Elliott's injunction until the court rules on the NFLPA's petition for rehearing. In other words, Elliott could be eligible if the court doesn't rule until after the Cowboys' Week 7 game. If that's the case, Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris wouldn't see a big workload and would only see spot carries if Dallas wants to get them prepared for an Elliott absence.

Elliott is averaging 15.4 FanDuel points per game through 5 weeks and will face the San Francisco 49ers, if eligible, in Week 7.
