49ers reportedly shopping Carlos Hyde

The San Francisco 49ers are reportedly shopping running back Carlos Hyde, according to Mile High Sports' Benjamin Allbright.

What It Means:

The report has been confirmed by CSN Bay Area's John Middlekauff and 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher. While Middlekauff says that the team is "open to trading every vet for the right price", Fisher says that the Dallas Cowboys aren't interested in Hyde, even with the upheld suspension of Ezekiel Elliott. Hyde is a free agent after this season, which might keep him from landing anywhere else as a rental this season. Matt Breida looks like the 49ers' running back of the future.

On 73 rush attempts, Hyde has accounted for 332 rushing yards and 2 rushing scores in 5 games. He's averaging 12.7 FanDuel points per week and is projected for 801.1 yards and 3.88 touchdowns over the rest of the season.
