Sterling Shepard (ankle) not practicing on Wednesday for Giants
New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard is listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.
According to ESPN's Jordan Ranaan, Shepard joins a long list of other Giants not practicing on Wednesday. Outside of Odell Beckham (ankle) and Brandon Marshall (ankle), both out for the year, the Giants could also be without Olivier Vernon (ankle), Landon Collins (ankle) and Paul Perkins (ribs), among others. It looks like the Giants' season could be coming to an unofficial end sooner than later.
With Shepard expected to miss Week 6 against the Denver Broncos, Roger Lewis is expected to take over as the team's top wideout. But, in the tough road matchup, we project him for just 2.6 catches (4.7 targets), 34.7 yards and 6.3 FanDuel points at a price of $5,900.
