Eagles' Torrey Smith consulted Stephen Curry prior to Week 5 breakout
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith said that he had texted Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry about his poor stretch of play.
After going for three catches, 70 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Week 5 win, Smith said that he texted Curry early in the week and asked how he handles a bad shooting streak. Smith said that Curry responded, "Focus on everything else but the missed shots."
Despite a big game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, we project Smith for less production this week. At $5,400, our models have him down for just 1.8 catches, 27.4 yards and 0.20 touchdowns on 3.6 targets Thursday night.
