Brandon Marshall (ankle) likely out multiple weeks for New York
New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall is expected to miss multiple games after spraining his ankle on Sunday, per Kimberly Jones of NFL Network.
Another terrible blow to the Giants' offense. Marshall, in all likelihood will miss at least the next two games before the team re-evaluates the injury during their Week 8 bye. With Odell Beckham done for ht year and Sterling Shepard nursing his own ankle injury, the Giants may need to turn to Roger Lewis as their top wideout with rookie tight end Evan Engram the favorite to lead the team in targets against the Denver Broncos in Week 6.
Marshall has 18 catches on 33 targets for 154 yards through 5 games this season.
