Buccaneers' Doug Martin expected to be 'significantly in the mix' in season debut
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin is expected to be in the mix in the backfield on Thursday night, reports ESPN's Dan Graziano.
Fresh off his four-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, Martin will make his way back for Thursday night's prime time game against the New England Patriots. There's been a lot of uncertainty around his role in the running back rotation, but Graziano expects him to get a lot of run alongside Jacquizz Rodgers and Charles Sims.
Our models project Martin for 8.9 touches, 41.6 totals yards and 0.16 touchdowns in Week 5. He costs $6,600 on this week's Thursday slate.
