Jonathan Stewart becomes Panthers' all-time leading rusher in Week 4 victory
Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart broke DeAngelo Williams' franchise record of 6,846 rushing yards in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 33-30 win over the New England Patriots.
Despite being out-snapped 48-28 by backfield mate Christian McCaffrey, Stewart was the more productive back, as he yielded 68 yards on 14 carries on Sunday. He didn't notice that he surpassed Williams until after the game. The two had shared the backfield in Carolina from 2008 to 2014.
Carrying a projection of 10.0 FanDuel points into this week's road game, Stewart ended the day with just 4.8 FanDuel points after losing a fumble in the 3rd quarter.
