Vikings confirm Dalvin Cook out for year with torn ACL
Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer confirmed running back Dalvin Cook tore his ACL in Week 4 and is done for the season.
Cook was on his way to an outstanding rookie campaign, so this is a bad blow to a Vikings team with playoff aspirations. Latavius Murray will likely take on a much larger role in the offense, as will Jerick McKinnon.
Cook will finish his rookie season with 354 yards on 74 carries and 2 touchdowns, to go with 11 catches or 90 yards through the air.
