Titans' Delanie Walker has sprained ligament in wrist
Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker revealed Wednesday that he's dealing with a sprained ligament in his wrist.
The injury report for the week isn't out yet, but this would probably land Walker in the questionable zone. Walker acknowledged that "being able to keep (the wrist) stable is the hardest part." In the event that Walker can't go, a majority of his snaps would likely go to Anthony Fasano.
Prior to the injury, our algorithms projected Walker at 3 receptions for 36 yards and 0.27 touchdowns in Week 2. Walker finished 17th in Reception Net Expected Points per target in 2014 out of the 32 tight ends who were targeted at least 40 times. Walker was targeted three times in Week 1, though the team only had to air it out 16 times after building a big lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
