Titans rule out Corey Davis (hamstring) for Week 4
The Tennessee Titans have ruled out wide receiver Corey Davis for Week 4, reports Titans Online's Jim Wyatt.
Davis has been battling hamstring injuries off-and-on through training camp and the early portion of the season. It's clear that the Titans are being careful with the promising rookie, who will miss his second straight game this week. Facing the Texans on Sunday, Eric Decker and Rishard Matthews should see more targets as Taywan Taylor operates in a third-wideout role.
Davis has 7 catches and 73 yards on 13 targets in 2 games. He's projected for 39.5 catches (on 68.0 targets), 470.5 yards and 2.21 touchdowns over the rest of the season.
