Saints noncommittal on Willie Snead's Week 4 role

New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton said that the team will use practice this week in order to see how much they will use wide receiver Willie Snead in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

What It Means:

Based on a Wednesday conference call with NFL Network's James Palmer, Payton confirmed that this is how the Saints will treat Snead in his return to the team from suspension. Beyond the suspension, Brandon Coleman's play in the slot has clouded Snead's role among the New Orleans wideouts, and that's not to mention Ted Ginn's deep-threat ability. Still, with Snead's skill, he should be back in a full-time role before long.

As the Saints face the Dolphins in London, we project Snead for 10.1 FanDuel points at a price of $6,000 on this week's early slate. Just be sure to check back on Snead's role later in the week.
