Victor Cruz still absent from Giants practice
New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz (calf) remained sidelined at practice Wednesday.
A definitive timeline has not been set for Cruz's return after he suffered the injury early in camp. Rueben Randle and Preston Parker will continue to see expanded playing time until Cruz returns to the lineup.
Parker finished Week 1 second on the team in targets behind Odell Beckham Jr. with six. Randle and running back Shane Vereen both had five. Their Week 2 opponent, the Atlanta Falcons, finished 2014 ranked 28th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play, so Randle should be on your radar in daily fantasy until Cruz returns.
