Bengals' Tyler Eifert out multiple weeks with back injury
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert will miss "multiple weeks" with a back injury, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Eifert won't need surgery, but it's worth noting that he went under the knife this past offseason after a back issue cost him the final two games of the 2016 campaign. Tyler Kroft will move forward as the Bengals' starting tight end, although he doesn't offer much fantasy appeal.
Entering Week 3, Eifert's 0.59 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked 13th among the 28 tight ends with at least 5 targets this season. He has 4 catches for 46 yards on 5 targets across two games.
