Washington's Jordan Reed (rib, sternum) 'unlikely' to play on Sunday
Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (rib, sternum) is "more unlikely to play" versus the Oakland Raiders in Week 3, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Washington will still wait until close to kickoff before making a final decision, but it doesn't sound like Reed will be active versus the Raiders on Sunday night. If so, Vernon Davis would be a viable Week 3 streamer as Reed's replacement at tight end.
If he does play, numberFire's models conservatively project Reed to see 3.5 targets versus the Raiders while finishing with 2.6 receptions for 30.5 yards and 0.19 touchdowns in Week 3. He comes with a $6,700 price tag on FanDuel and is currently tied as the TE23 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
