Jay Ajayi (knee) practices Friday for Dolphins, but not 100 percent
Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi (knee) returned to Dolphins practice on Friday, but he "seemed to have a slight hitch when running," according to the Miami Herald's Adam H. Beasley.
Ajayi also had a black sleeve on his knee during practice for what's it's worth. The Dolphins' running back slipped to the fifth round in the 2015 draft due to cartilage concerns, but despite this, he is still expected to play in Week 3. If Ajayi is limited, Damien Williams would be next in line to handle an expanded workload.
Right now our models project Ajayi for 83.1 yards and 0.55 touchdowns on 20.4 carries against the New York Jets. We expect him to add 2.5 catches for 17.3 yards through the air, for a net of 14.6 FanDuel points and a price of $8,200.
